About Beans:
Over the past year we have released ten Colombian coffees, and the one that moved us most was the washed Geisha from Finca San Antonio. For the 2026 harvest we closely followed the picking progress in Nariño and secured this lot as soon as it became available.
What impresses us most about this coffee is its exceptional sweetness and velvety, juice-like texture. At higher temperatures it offers aromas of hibiscus, sweet orange and red berries. As the cup cools, the body becomes increasingly rich and juicy—reminiscent of peach juice or a complex fruit nectar. This is when the true “velvet” mouthfeel becomes unmistakable.
Finca San Antonio sits at 2,100 meters. With the support of our long-term partner Inconexus, farm owners Nilson López and Cielo López have embarked on a journey of specialty production. The unique terroir of Nariño, the careful and dedicated management by Nilson and Cielo, and the technical guidance of Inconexus have together created this washed Geisha that we love deeply.
