MONTAÑA — Heart of the Canyon

Montaña sits in the middle of the canyon, surrounded by native forest and rugged terrain that shape both the landscape and the way coffee is grown. Reaching this plot requires a hike across a river, further underscoring the remote and pristine character of this part of the farm.

Because of the steep and uneven terrain, planting density here is lower than in other areas of Finca Los Cenizos, allowing the coffee trees to grow in a more natural environment. The combination of altitude, forest cover, and the slow ripening of the cherries produces coffees that fully capture the unique character of this secluded highland landscape.

This natural Geisha is a pinnacle expression from the farm, reminiscent of last year’s GNF170. It offers rich, sweet, and exceptionally elegant notes of gardenia and coffee blossom, tender and juicy white peach, refreshing sweetness of grape and lychee, and a finish like strawberry fruit candy.
