During our 2026 origin trip to Ethiopia, Testi prepared a cupping session of 28 outstanding washed coffees. In the blind selection process, Sewda once again stood out and was selected for our 2026 harvest lineup.

The 2026 crop of Sewda continues the lot’s signature profile of elegant magnolia florals and sweet apricot-like fruit. This year, however, the cup shows greater sweetness and more weight, with a firmer, more structured body, while maintaining the refined clarity and cleanliness that define this coffee.

Through this washed Sewda, we believe you can experience what we remember as the finest expression of washed Ethiopian coffee—uplifting fresh florals, bright and lively acidity, and a refreshing, lingering sweetness. It is not an Ethiopia defined by aroma alone, but one that also delivers beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness, supported by a delicate, silky texture.
