About Beans:

El Dorado Farm was established in 2017. It is owned by the Elder family and operated in partnership with Bernie Uhe. Through his company CVM, Bernie Uhe is deeply involved in the farm’s cultivation and management, combining the coffee-growing experience he accumulated in Colombia with Ecuador’s high-altitude terroir.

The Geisha planted on the farm is mainly distributed across three lots: Lot 1, Lot 2, and Lot 3. This Geisha comes from Lot 1 at 1,700–1,770 m. It is processed with the 1×5 anaerobic washed method: whole cherries are first fermented in bags for 1 day, then pulped and fermented again in bags for 5 days, followed by washing and drying. Compared with more conservative processing, the extended fermentation significantly enhances the intensity of the fruit aroma and flavor.

On the palate, it opens with vivid yellow mango, full-bodied sweet-tartness and fleshy texture reminiscent of mango, interwoven with the aromas of honey tangerine and strawberry. The mouthfeel is viscous and rounded.
