About Beans:

El Dorado Farm was established in 2017. It is owned by the Elder family and operated in partnership with Bernie Uhe. Through his company CVM, Bernie Uhe is deeply involved in the farm’s cultivation and management, combining the coffee-growing experience he accumulated in Colombia with Ecuador’s high-altitude terroir.

The Geisha planted on the farm is mainly distributed across three lots: Lot 1, Lot 2, and Lot 3. Among them, Lot 3 sits at the highest elevation (1,850–1,900 m) and receives the most conservative and restrained fermentation treatment. This 1×1 batch undergoes one day of whole-fruit fermentation, followed by another day of fermentation after pulping, then washing and drying. This approach fully showcases the inherent strengths of the variety and altitude.

In the cup, it presents classic white floral and citrus characteristics: rich jasmine, fresh lemon blossom, bright and uplifting citrus, and delicate bergamot. The profile is clean, elegant, and well-layered, with a distinct Panamanian Geisha style.
