About Beans:
This coffee was hand-selected during our sourcing trip to Costa Rica in March this year. We drove from the capital San José southward along the stunning winding mountain roads, reaching Don Jose Farm in about two hours.

Situated at an impressive altitude of 2,100 meters, Don Jose Farm offers breathtaking views. Standing at the summit, the clouds feel within arm’s reach, while the majestic Talamanca mountain range unfolds dramatically below. The Geisha plots are planted on steep 60-degree slopes, growing slowly under the shade of dense forest, perfectly integrated with the surrounding natural ecosystem.

This Red Honey processed Geisha presents a sweet pink floral aroma when dry, reminiscent of blooming roses. In the cup, it opens with the rich, juicy sweetness of yellow peach at higher temperatures. As it cools, bright citrus notes of sugar tangerine emerge, followed by the deep sweetness and fragrance of dried longan at lower temperatures. The mouthfeel is exceptionally delicate and silky, with a honey-like viscosity and lingering sweetness.
